>>3918741Why do suicidal people feel the need to shit up the internet with their depression? The internet is supposed to be an escape from the real world. When depressed people post their baggage they aren’t looking for help. They’re looking for people to co-sign their toxicity and say “yeah you’re totally right”. They don’t want to take inventory of their life, and instead shit on other people’s downtime without even meaning to.
I’m genuinely sorry they feel the way they do, and I wish I could help. But people don’t need that shit in their lives. You want to vent and not work on yourself at all? You want to just keep pumping out more and more negativity into the world? More power to you. But I’m going to want to help, despite knowing you won’t accept it. So the best compromise is for me to put as little effort into helping as possible. Don’t like it? Seek a support group, or a professional. Or suffer in silence like a decent human being
