Also I don't think I associate each letter/number with a certain color but rather on a cool/warm color basis. Like for example 4 makes me think of warm colors (red, orange, yellow) while 3 makes me think of cool colors (blue, green, purple). Though some numbers are definitely a certain color, like 5 is yellow and 8 is purple
I don't know how I came up with these colors but that's just how I perceive them I guess

I've noticed this before but I don't think I actually have it. Like I associate certain numbers with colors. 1 is black, 2 is red, 3 is blue, 4 isnt associated with anything, 5 is orange, 6 is yellow, 7 isn't associated with anything. But I don't actually see it when Im reading, it just comes in handy when I'm making a poster or something that needs color.

Well I don't physically see the color when I'm reading either, it's just something that happens subconsciously. I don't really notice it unless I'm actually thinking about it. But then again I may not actually have it either

yes but the type i have turns each individual sound into a shape with different depth and texture depending on the volume or distance/reverberation/echo. the color association only comes into play sometimes since most of the shapes are devoid of any discernable color.
it's pretty annoying since a lot of the time i find myself focusing on how music looks rather than how it sounds.
djent and trap music are really fucking ugly
