I've lived all my life without /bant/dad. He wasn't there when I was born, he never came to my birthday party... or any others for that matter. We never played footy on the park and he never took me fishing. Holidays came and went without his presences. And now he is here, it has me thinking; if I've lived so long without him, do I really need him?
