i mean, if it was all due to politics, surely there wouldn't be such an overwhelming consensus. only whites seem to be divided by politics at about 56% to 44%. everybody else is pretty clear on preferring the democrats. do you really think the democrats are SO GOOD at persuasion that they managed to convince 94 fucking percent of black women that they're the right choice? and similarly, if the republicans are trying to "draw in" whites like you say they are, are they so fucking bad at it that they only managed to get 54%
i wouldn't be so dismissive of race if i was you. both race and politics are important
