What I'm really interested is the visuals before you fall asleep. Surely, everyone has seen flashing lights moving around their vision when you are falling asleep but then there's other things that are impossible to even fully describe. One thing I have been experiencing since childhood (although it would happen almost every night when I was a kid and it's much more rare these days) is a very strange phenomenon. With my eyes closed, I can visualise a black room. The room appears impossibly small - it's so tiny it seems like I'm being pulled into it. But at the same time, the room seems to be ever expanding. It's this weird effect where I think of something and it shows up really huge, really up-close.
I looked it up once and got some leddit thread as a result so I guess I'm not the only one who has wondered about it.
Also, just this week, there was a morning when I experienced exploding head syndrome twice in about ten minutes. Dunno why, but that's exciting every time.

Also, a kind person linked me a 160110 pic I don't have yet. VERY nice!
