Each one of those has around 20 million people each or more. California definitely has one of the worst reputations and it's not far from the truth, I'm from Los Angeles born and raised, truly a magnificent shithole and failure of human civilization. If you took away all the people though, California is one of the most beautiful states along with the other Pacific coast states.
