>>4012058well that's one way, but you can also try and use its advantages
it's a place where you can say whatever the fuck you want with virtually no repercussions, no post history for people to check, nobody knows who you are or how you "usually react
and you only get banned if you post shit that's literally illegal, or at least most of the time; nobody bans you for having horribly extremist opinions, for better or worse
and depending what you're like or what you're into, you can jump between boards depending on how your interests change over time
I've been in /adv/, /fit/, /p/, /int/, /trv/, /vg/, /mu/, /tv/, /ck/, /biz/, and sure eventually they all started feeling like shit more or less, but there's still something of value to be gained from each; I guarantee that there is a niche in most of those boards that you would like
but about half way through that list I realized that it (for me) it takes about 3-4 months to understand how the board operates and eventually I get fed up with 90% of its content (it really is an immensely toxic and childish website overall)
but that's fine, there's plenty to do and nobody force us to come here
after being on 4chins for so long the thought of having an account on something like this scares the living shit out of me
