Let me share with you a fascination that I've had recently.
I've been fascinated by old timey depictions of robots and I've been gathering a few pics of them.
I'll post them here and i hope you'll enjoy them as much as i have.

Daleks also look alright, i prefer it when robots have limbs though.
I think what sparked it was watching those old superman cartoons from the 40s (well worth the watch btw, the animation is still fantastic).
There was this episode With robots in them and i just loved how they moved and looked.
Though my current stint was started by discovering this >>4041011 and just deciding to spend some time looking for more robots like this.

Nice trips and the animation is pretty good but I like the Dayaks knowing that they are trapped in a dustbin with a skirt that has discoballs and that they have no feelings except hatred for other species and maybe fear

Yeah, the concept of hate in robotic beings is also something that endlessly facinates me.
Have you read/listened to or maybe played i have no mouth and i must scream, there's an ai in it that is completely filled with malice towards life and it's terrifying and captivating at the same time.

Price and style I would assume. The horse would be more powerful but probably would cost more to make so it would be a rich mans way to get around. But then again the man would make people feel like kings being carried around, so who knows.
