We can't just give the Falklands to Argentina, especially when they falsify historical precedent for doing so, but the main reason is the people who call the Falklands home want to be British, not Argentinian.
It's the same reason why we can't jettison that shit-tip, Northern Ireland, as much as we'd like to. The orange billy boys make too much of a racket and apparently hold majority.
