This is a thread for the discussion and debate of Myers-Briggs and/or Jung related tests and typology. Please keep conversations relevant.

>What is MBTI? (Myers-Briggs Personality Test)

From a quick Google search, wikipedia says the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator is “an introspective self-report questionnaire with the purpose of indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world around them and make decisions.” However, it can be used for so much more in the way of self discovering, and self development. The question is, Are You Interested?

>How does it work?

Two types of formats exist.

1. The Myers-Briggs
This format is essentially finding out 4 things.
A. Are you more Extroverted or Introverted
B. Are you more Sensing or Intuitive
C. Are you more thinking or Feeling
D. Are you more Perceiving or Judging

2. The Jung Test
This format is more complex, involving multiple layers of “Cognitive Functions”. This test is recommended for those who have already taken the simpler test, and believe they have a grasp on how MBTI works.
