I finally figured out why my drawers never closed. It was blocked up with shopping bags, because I've been putting bags in there so long they've been getting jammed up against the back. I pulled out all the bags and got my drawers to close but now I have no idea where to put all my bags.

Still, nothing beats good detective work.
