So it turns out that he reconfigured the clock from "microwave time" to "oven time." They are similar but the algorithm they use to time things are slightly different. Oven Time uses a temperature parameter while Microwave Time does not, this extra bit of information is causing the Microwave to do a security lock. To you it looks like it isn't working, to a professional it's telling me that it has been reconfigured maliciously. Re-configuring it is easy if you can Secure Shell into your Microwave's IP, most models after the year 1992 support both SSH and Telnet. Post lewds and I'll fix it.
