Almost any criticism of Russia will devolve into Whataboutism pointed at Americans, and they basically just end up crying about getting picked on by the rest of the West.
They can't own up to the fact that their cowardice produced the wreckage of the Soviet Union and the gulags, as well as the subsequent gobnik/criminal culture the country runs on today.
>"It's ok that Putin steals billions, because without him Russia would be weak."
>"It's ok that he kills opposition, because, you know, they probably worked against Russian interests anyways."
>"Illegal invasion into Crimea? They all wanted to be Russian anyways. And what about America, huh? They're the real bad guys on the international scene."
>"Providing North Korea with oil and internet and labor camp sites? There's nothing wrong with supporting a regime that puts hundreds of thousands in death camps. America is the real bad guy here for not minding it's own business."
>"Lying on my taxes? It's fine, some government official would just embezzle it or misuse it anyways."
>"Cheating in the Olympics? We didn't do anything wrong except getting caught. Everyone does it."
Russians are basically a step away from the insectoid mindset of the Chinese, and that's really saying something. I guess losing most of your men in WWII and decades of murdering millions of your own educated class really eliminates those with the courage to be morally righteous.
Also, inb4 "muh orthodoxy". Those fucking cowards didn't even start celebrating Christmas again till the mid 90's, so any appeal to cultural piousness is bullshit.
Russians fall in line with the strong man and don't mind cheating and stealing as long as it doesn't affect them personally. Probably why the Jew has been running the show over there since the revolution.
