On the second point I don't think anywhere's happy, specific people are happy everywhere but depressed cunts such as myself just can't be happy.
I think modern society is the issue, materialism and consumerism, the disillusionment from this modern idea of needing a job to be fulfilled, people just looking to enjoy themselves in a society only made for people born in the right place to enjoy. It's not a new thing at all but this most recent iteration has come with a whole new sling of fuckeries.
