Art does not have any power to change culture, its just a reflection of the values already existing in culture. The modern art world reflects the values of a tiny group of "collectors" and "institutions" that are far removed from the heartbeat of regular people, that is why it is so weird, but that also means it is insignificant, so thank god for that.
