I've only read FotNS so I can't really recommend the anime. Though it is an awesome read.
Jin-Roh is a movie. Watch it whenever.
JoJo and LOTGH are about the same length episode wise with Lotgh a few episodes longer.
In regards to LOTGH watch Overture to a New War first since it's the first 2-3 episodes with better directing then start the main series. You can also watch My Conquest is the Sea of Stars either before or after since it is a prequel and occurs a few months before the main plot.
