The reason I went there, apart from the wine was the isolation and difference from the rest of Aus. Perth is 10/10, and if your thinking getting into the mining industry is the hub of australia. It's just different and clean and nice.
I'm in the Barossa now, and thinking of heading back. if your into surfing or outdoor stuff, it's perfect.
