It’s a gene mutation, the specific gene is the OAC2 gene. Sometimes half the siblings have blue eyes and half are brown, but they obviously are the exact same race. Hair and eye color are fairly trivial. Race is real, though. Blue eyes are found almost exclusively in Europeans, though, but I think it’s something like 54% of europeans don’t have blue eyes, if I remember correctly.
