It doesn't "work" for crime prevention as much as I would like outside of killing people who are going to be repeat offenders and potentially stopping them from passing on their shitty genes. It is unarguably eugenic
The catch in all this is that the courts are fallible and governments are injust. I also don't trust a panel of soccer mums to do anything correctly.
So morally I am for it, practically I am not so sure
