judgement is tricky in acquisition. i would say that in order to be able to judge, we have to first experience and acquire knowledge. Now knowledge of things (objects in our external world) are the first we encounter. Since things can be many and never just one, the choice is given; this one over that one. to conclude to a choice, judgement is needed. so the concept of choice and the ability to choose gives us the ability to judge.
the fact that i like pepsi over cola is a choice i ve made based on a judgement (whether it is rational or irrational, it doesnt matter at this point)
