Started emulating Need For Speed Underground 2 for the PS2 on my PC; really helps with the stress when I'm feeling cagey & need something to distract me or to focus on

I use a Logitech F310 that I got for like $15 from walmart and PCSX2 v.1.4.0

emulating PS2 games is a bit more of a pain in the ass because the emulator/graphics settings take a bit more fiddling & fine tuning to get right but its worth it for the nostalgia factor IMO

Ya I tried it with Tony Hawks underground but everything was in slow motion. From sound files to frames. Too irritating to play. I think that was PCSX2 too.

I actually had depersonalization during my alcoholic or "wet-brain" days.

It's impossible to describe, and you don't suffer from it. You kind of feel like a ghost wading between existence and non-existence.

Literally sounds exactly like what I'm trying to describe. Unless you mean you have no thoughts when depersonalized. I feel like a fractured soul trapped far away from a body stuck in a routine. I see the world but cannot touch it. Idk. I'm no psychologist but that's what I got for you.

I stopped playing vidya a long time ago, I get no satisfaction for it anymore. I get what ur feeling anon. N the leaf is right, ur not in that bad a situation. I’m sure u know what u can do to fix urself back up, or at least have some ideas. It’s up to you to act on them without fear.

If I had to play a game right now I’d probably play Mario Kart or something simple n silly

Ya I don't get satisfaction from "non casual" games anymore besides roguelikes really. I have been playing quite a bit of binding of Isaac for both the RL content and the sugar rush. Fits simple and silly.
