The best part is, dude's doing it completely free. Grassroots type stuff, and it's still growing. I'm keeping an eye on this. But I can't help but be reminded of Machinima and they're bullshit being pretty much the only game in town for a while. At least for a collective bargaining deal, but this is totally different. Hosting your own server of anything means you're either renting one, which most people aren't really willing to do, for both financial reasons and lack of administration skills, or having a static IP, which is expensive.
Not to mention the cost of "owning" a DNS name.
