If a car mechanic is covered in oil, you could also say he’s covered in grease
Oil and grease are used interchangeably there
Some wrestlers cover themselves in Vaseline/petroleum jelly, you can say they’ve “greased themselves up” because of the similarity to the slickness of oil
Duck fat is a really high quality fat for cooking things with, but it sounds awkward to say duck grease
Same with tallow, but surprisingly not bacon fat
This is really just because bacon fat is often a lot darker than duck fat due to pieces of bacon sometimes remaining when you cook it
