Why isnt there an image limit for threads having the same pic in the catalog (not within threads). This would reduce spam automatically.

some ib softwares use more sophisticated duplication checking algorithms, but i think 4chan just looks at the image hash.

Combine all three ideas and mods should be able to
1. download an image
2. Upload it to an image recognition software
3. Autosage all threads with similar pictures
4. For a certain amount of time (not forever)

it's very easy to make "new" versions of an image that look the same but aren't actually the same data so the server doesn't think it's a dupe. you can also write a script to batch process an image into hundreds of "different" copies that all look the same
