I'm prototyping with wood, the base is aluminum. I think I'll mostly use 1/8" 2x1 aluminum. All of that wood is like 20 bucks total while the same amount of aluminum would be almost 100 dollars.

IDK really. It really is a hodgepodge of things in CAD right now. Honestly it's closest to D.Vas mech from Overwatch but will look nothing like it.

The only useful mach I can think of is a bot that can follow you around. You'll be able to mount your desktop on it, and essentially have a self moving table so that you can bring your computer with you where you go
