For me, it's one of my dead kittens from a few years ago. I was investigating the cause of death, poked the stomach by accident. A rancid breath of death and decay went right into my mouth just as I was exhaling. If I had to finger the cause of death, though, I'd say it ate something it wasn't supposed to.
Now when I have a boner that needs to be killed, I think of the cat and it goes right down. It's a bit of a self destructive behavior but it works.
