>>437091>I don't think you understand or can comprehend what's happening. They're moving all the locals out of London bit by bit through relocating them through the councils or pricing them out of the area. Obviously they're going to keep "key workers" i.e. your binmen and such, but everyone else will be told to fuck off, especially when even more automation replace workers.Who is "they"? Oh, you mean DA JOOS, right?
If you mean the white working classes have been moving out of London then you're absolutely right, they're being priced out, and they're not desperate enough to work the shit jobs like immigrants are.
There was a documentary on the BBC recently called "The Last Whites of the East End" or something like that, and it was about this phenomenon. It was good. Predictably, all the champagne socialists said "THIS PROGRAMME IS WHITE SUPREMACIST!" on Twitter.
>Mark my words, London is going to become those cities that you only get in scifi books and movies, the rich and beautiful living inside a walled rich and beautiful city and the poor will exist only on the outside where they will have to get work visas to travel in and out the city for their menial jobs. Not sure a physical barrier will exist because people will rebel against that. But there is, of course, always a big social and financial divide between rich and poor isn't there.
Have you ever seen the movie Elysium? It's by the guy who did District 9 and it's about a future where the rich live on this space station, where they have access to all the latest healthcare and technology, while all the poor plebs are left to their own devices on Earth. I think it's a pretty realistic depiction of the future - whether the rich will go in a space station, or whether they will stay in rich parts of London, the point is the same, that they will have access to the best healthcare and technology while all the commoners are left to fight amongst themselves.
