Warframe.
I think I spent a good month or two on the game then fell off.
Some of my friends ended up playing so I jumped back on.
Sadly, my friends made the mistake of spending money on the game and were privy to Waframes that required grinding. Hard grinding. So they had no real sense of accomplishment with their Waframes and they burned out.
I in turned stopped playing because my friends stopped playing. Did manage to grind out Ivara, still in the oven completed.

I guess Roblox is F2P, which I played from 2010-2017. I made a few unsuccessful games and made a handful of friends.

I dont consider Club Penguin F2P, since you basically need a membership to wipe your own ass. But I played that from about 2007-2009
