Competent spelling can be found at your local library.
Vanilla, mainstream opinions can be pried from some college kid at a bus stop.
Fact-checking swiftly follows every statement made by an aspiring political candidate.
That's not to say that 4chan is a completely inorganic blob based on nothing.
4chan is another version of real life. It's a deformed lens that manipulates what we normally see and makes it interesting.
Any post can be intelligent because of how it can be interpreted as anything at all.
The thought that goes in by its author and how easily it can be misconstrued into something else can be amazing.
Either way I don't see the need for the website to be of use to anyone of have intelligent conversation in the first place.
It's identity is that it chooses either to have none, or as many identities as there are users and moods.
I'll take 4chan because it's actually fun and is the superior coping tool.
