Has anyone on /bant/ ever gone to a party?
What's it like? The most people I've ever hung out with at once was maybe 5 different people, but even then I just only talked to my best friend who was also there and occasionally chit chatted with a few other guys who butted in on conversations

I've been to a few. I like the ones where I know >30% of the people there. I went to two, though, where I only knew a person, and holy hell it was horrible. No i never go to other people's parties.
Sometimes i host parties but only my close friend circle is invided, there is no alchool and no music, we cook together, play cards and board games we talk and eat.
There is a lot of sexual tension between everyone, its 4 guys and 8 girls, everyone has dated at least one person on the group at some point.

that's not really a party, just one of those nights lol
but i guess it counts. last party I've been to was 3 years ago. 70% of the people were underage, and everyone was smoking weed and/or cigs on all 3 floors

Oh yeah man all the time. I've hosted and been a guest as well. It's usually a lot of fun because my party friends are super Chad and super normie. I've got hella pictures from parties I've either been to or hosted. They're usually really fun. The best ones are when you have a few people you know but it's mostly strangers. You end up smoking weed with this hot babe in adventure time leggings and know if you weren't already taken you'd be taking the express train to pound town. So instead you talk about all kinds of shit and eventually you talk politics by that time you've got a ring of women paying attention to how well versed you are. Not all parties are fun though. Some you end up watching people shoot heroin on Halloween..... not fun.

Best parties I've ever been to was when I accidentally made friends with someone from a big TV network, and they had rented the bar for the night for a VIP and guests only party. Wish I had a way to go to more exclusives parties.

it's just like being with a bunch of people who you may know or not but will equally talk to you given the circumstances. most of the time there is music, so there will be dancing, but nothing to worry because nobody gives a shit about anything and they all just want to have a laugh and get wasted. and if they laugh at your expense, it will be in good faith and for a short time, until they jump to the next person, but you will probably laugh too

I have been to a lot of parties when I was in college, then at university. But, the best parties that I had were those organized at home. That were great times, I used to invite all of my friends and they brought with them other friends and we had a lot of fun. I missed those times. I think I have to organize a big party. That's nothing difficult in that. All we need is good music and a nice atmosphere. So, I'll rent a sound and lighting equipment on https://www.truesoundhire.co.uk/ , I'll buy some drinks and food and that's all. However, the sad part of it is that all of my friends have a job, family, and are always busy, but I hope they will make time for the party.
