>>4494494>but if the means are privatized you can produce what you want.Marxist economics involve democratic worker control over production. The people still get to decide what to produce
>What exactly do you commies hate the word "profit" for anywayBecause production shouldn't be based around profit. Profit is surplus, it is waste. Ideally a product's worth should be based on the price of its materials, its transport, and the labor of the workers. However, Capitalists couldn't profit off of this (as they'd be selling it for the same amount as they put into it) so they up the price several times for no reason other than to profit off a process that they had no part in. This is how you get agriculture companies rolling in money while the farmers and other workers who produced the product struggle to get by. The idea of profit is even more insulting when you remember that money isn't actually a real thing on its own, rather it is a representation of your share of the country's resources. However that's bullshit in a Capitalist economy, money is a representation of your share of your country's resources plus the Captialist tax.
>Hell the workers income is mostly secure even if the company is doing poorly. The workers are always the ones who suffer when a company does poorly. Pay cuts and mass fires, companies care about their profits, not workers. When a company fails due to poor management the workers are all left unemployed and without severance while the CEO gets a nice multi-million dollar going away present and stockholders scrample to cut their losses.
