so that same night i dreamed i was in the himalayas with some chick and there was some sherpa guiding us up a mountain. then at one point when they were both ahead of me, a bit over my my head, the sherpa said "this is where we jump". and when i looked up there was a two meter break in the very narrow path, with a tiny platform pertruding on the other edge. so you were stuck on a tiny path where you had to wallhug so you didn't have enough leverage to jump properly, but you had to clear a two meter gap. the sherpa did it easily. the girl disappeared at that point and it was just me inching my way towards the jump and knowing i was going to die for sure the whole way
then when it came time for the jump i got sleep paralysis. i felt stuck in my body and i knew if i didn't move i'd be perpetually stuck in that moment of vertigo just before i fall. i tried to move any limbs and appandeges i could just to break out of the sleep paralysis and i finally did it. man was that a relief. scary as shit while it lasted though.
