A conspiracy theorist has shared footage, in a bid to show that Google Earth is blacking out parts of Antarctica.
Zooming in, he shows large blurry masses of ice where distinctive features are almost impossible to make out.
But as he moves to an alternative satellite shot – which he claims shows the same area – all becomes clear.
In the clip captured from space, a clear image displays a rock formation that appears to display a swastika.
Alongside this bizarre symbol, there also seems to be several other structures that are rumoured to make up the rest of a Nazi town.
The bizarre footage was uploaded to YouTube channel UFOmania yesterday — and has already received a huge amount of attention.
Racking up more than 6,000 hits, the video has left viewers baffled by what it could be.
One comment read: “Yet more proof of the secret German Nazi Antarctica base.”
And another added: “Awesome satelite footage, but this is not new news.
"There is a lot more amazing things in and on Antarctica.”
