so every time you search for something and click on an ad, you're making the company that's running that ad pay for it. you can't spam clicks i think, because google has safeguards against that
as for what google is currently doing, it's basically going to suggest ads for you (using some algorithm to create the ad text) and if you don't expressedly tell it "no, don't run this ad" (like for example if you didn't see the warning), it'll automatically start it up and if you don't notice it's running, you can incur extra charges for running a shitty ad you didn't even know was running. You get billed at the end of the month so depending on the budget you use, you can get seriously fucked in the ass. don't know how this can possibly be legal.
