>>4595232You're not wrong on the first part, but it's one of the many factors of enjoyment in life. Would you say collectively building wood figurines for 70 years of your life in solitude an appropiate way of living life because it's a hobby?
>Enjoyment is not enjoymentI really have got to figure out what loops you guys jump through to dissociate mediums literally named after "Entertainment" are not for the sole purpose of enjoyment, so you can justify your arguments about hobbies.
I'm not arguing videogames inflicts anyone with anything, I use videogames as for what they are, I play ArmA 3 for cooperative teamplay, I play RTS's for similar reasons, City Skylines for general infrastructual autism, etcetra. They are good painless, one-time purchase mediums capable of offering experiences which fufill certain creative needs. I could become a city developer. However, that's a lifetime job and it's one of the many proffessions I may or may not like to join, if you get my gist. Simulations offer alternative realites capable of providing otherwise difficult to live out experiences.
>>4595237I'm not an athiest. I can't think of the term now, but I'm familiar with the concept of a god, I just don't associate myself with religions as they're usually much like ideology and culture in how they form people.
By the way, I was using evangelicals as a way of explaining hard-line anti-human behaviour parenting. The kind of shit would penalize a child for climbing in a tree. Not in a motive against christainity.
>>4595236I have a partner, job, car and sex. I've mentioned this prior to your post. I'm a poor lower class bloke. Plenty of lower class people breed.
