My room with one bulb lighting it, a bed, a table, and mostly covered windows. I could be using three bulbs, but they burn out so fast I figured this would be more cost efficient. It's fairly dark. The table sits in a corner and is covered with books, paper, and boxes.

In my bed, from my apartment, with a single light still on to see the keyboard. The window is open to let some fresh air in. I also have some pillows behind my back for superior sitting experience.

Posting from my new couch I installed today while watching Netflix. There are two vintage wooden lamps on either end with soft cream lamp shades so that the light is a soft yellow/brown color. I can see the moon right outside the very large sliding window next to me, and the sound of crickets at this hour here is fairly loud.

All 4 of my grandparents came to America from England and when I was little they'd always tell me stories about their lives back there and those little stories as a kid sparked a passion for English history, specifically Anglo-Saxon England before you frogs came over and messed everything up ;) What about you, what are your interests?

The last proper books I read was Daniel Defoe's Moll Flanders and A Journal of a Plague Year.

I really enjoy first person perspective, even better if they're in diary or journal format. Letters from an American Farmer got me into it when I was younger & I'm hooked ever since. Recently though I've just been reading Mangas, which I feel kinda guilty about.

Mostly military history, and military technology in particular. But I also have a whole bunch of other books and subjects to study as a part of my curriculum.
One book I really do enjoy a lot is Storm of Steel. I have no idea why, I just find it really fascinating.
