Do not call a meme a meme. Self-awareness and metashittery ruins memes as to call it a meme would mean it belongs to an unwritten "canon" of "internet memes," and the label of meme thereof would attract the reddit masses who claim comradery and partial-ownership over anything labeled "a meme," as is part of their belief that memes belong to an all-encompassing "meme culture."
Do not fall for the snare, If it is a memetic creation that you favor, avoid using the meme word when describing it when possible.
