An artist, in my opinion and many people whom I have spoken about this in great fucking depth, should want as many people as they can to watch/digest their work. It shouldn't be behind some fucking paywall if they are already quite well off, and/or not dying and struggling. The idea is, 'My work that I managed to put together and distribute could in theory change someones whole approach to life, alter their entire viewpoint 10, 50, 100, 1000 years from now and potentially inspire them in some way to produce something of their own which then impacts someone else in the same way, all the while it still delivers a message itself at the time, or an idea in some form or another'. That is what good art is to me. I'm not supporting someones personal take of current events. I'm not financially supporting 'Sam Hyde regurgitates the news with his friends while smoking cigars'.
And if he wants to make money, then he's in the wrong fucking business.
Or... he can continue to scalp from the fucking retards, as I said. Though it is almost certain none of these people will ever be impacted or inspired by it in such a way that they produce something great of their own, because they are for the most part, fucking useless.
>>4694802Yeah, it's a trade off on his part that he has to decide for himself what he values more. Does he want more comfort at the cost of only having fucking morons interacting with his 'art', etc.
He's not starving. He's making decent money. If he wants more of that, then get a job as a lawyer or something.
>>4694804I like his work and him as a person as much as possible for someone you have never met. I don't understand what you mean. Just don't expect me to subsidise him buying cigars.
