im just trying to get a certificate so i can bypass the overstaffed meat clerk positions to be a meatcutter at my grocery store. there is no fucking way to get one. that shit is vaguely defined as fuck but its somehow allowed to be a legal requirement with no fucking standardization. im lookin at community colleges for certificate programs and all i can find are baking and "culinary arts". you can get certified of having general knowledge of food. WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT EVEN MEAN. the only straightforward method is to get an apprenticeship for like 8000 dollars. if i wasn't poor id just start a business, how can skilled labor cost that much? why the fuck is it retardedly complicated to get some fucking education on meat preparation?
