Apparently r9k have been spammed with trap thread and threads trying to get people to turn themselves into traps. Turns out most of it came from some discord which was being lead by some sad person named Reiko. Rumors was saying that he blackmailed the people on his discord and r9k went completely apeshit. Then /pol/ joined in to get rid of the traps and of course it went out of control. The discord is still up but most of the original people from it have deleted their accounts.
