Seung-Hui Cho killed 32 people at the Virginia Tech shooting in April of that year. Contrary to popular believe, Cho didn't have autism (at least not on record and according to a number of experts), but instead had select mutism. Friends and family of Cho said that they rarely heard him complete a sentence. Cho did suffer from a number of mental disorders, such as flat affect and chronic depression, for which he was voluntarily hospitalised for in 2005. Had he been involuntarily hospitalised, he would not have been able to legally purchase firearms and the murder perhaps would never have happened.
Oh and Bhutto was assassinated in the second attempt on her life (200 people killed across both attempts). That is all I remember from 2007, outside of shitting myself at one point
