What was your first job? I'm 20 with little to no job experience.
I have been in construction for the past 3 years and I wanna try something else.
Fast food is a big no, are grocery stores alright?

I really cant stand waking up at 4AM for work anymore, I used to enjoy it when I was running machinery but now I just do electrical work.
All the guys tell me to get out of it and get a nice comfy office job.

Dude, seriously, office jobs suck for a variety of reasons. You won't be as tired, granted, but you have to deal with office politics. Emails will go around, women will complain to HR, you'll offend people, work never truly ends. I could go on forever why office jobs suck. Of course, some great jobs are office based, but office jobs in general suck ass, especially at the lower end

I actually was raised like a faggot. Mom won custody over me and never really had a dad. I was taken in by a big guy in construction and have learned a shit ton.
Couldn't be more thankful for being able to feel like a man for 3 years of my life.
That said I would like to experience a lot of things while I'm young and not just do construction for the rest of my life.

Labored in construction for over 10 years for my fathers construction company. Then I went and focused on my college work and labored only on the weekends. Worked for Target in electronics for 4 years; good experience, everyone should at least work a little bit in retail because a bunch of the skills you learn there are good in all jobs, plus the networking with coworkers helped me get my current job which is IT support for a POS software company. I also worked at a comic book store, which was my favorite job of all. My dream job is to open a comic book and game store; I've got a degree in business that I went back for after working at Target. The best advise I can give is to never stop either learning a trade/going to college for a piece of paper and/or working. And always be networking, either with coworkers, students, or even your teachers/professors.
