I would say that boys and girls definitely have different optimal ways of learning. Also bullying with boys is a lot more physical but also a lot more open and honest than with girls. Boys reconcile more easily after arguments than girls, who can keep their bitchy passive aggressive feuds going all term.
I find that it being all girls actually improves things in that regard. There's less competition and arguments, which in a mixed environment are often over boys.
