I never got to know how it is on G-rank - I "only" had one friend with who we sometimes hosted a LAN party and progressed on some Urgent Quests in multi. We got onto S rank tho, before he even managed to kill Tigrex on singleplayer, hah!
I remember my grin on my face when I've done all of the quests on singleplayer (1-6 rank) and when I was on my way back on loading screen from last Urgent Quest, I really wondered if these magnificent locations and bosses are only available on multi - all of the maps with the prefix "Old" and bosses like Silver Rathalos and Golden Rathian, Akantor and - of course - main monster of them all, Nargacuga! It was by far my favorite boss with the best experience scaling - the only one that I actually tried "mastering" and speedrunning or trying to hunt with least used resources ʰᵒᶰᵉʸ ʷᵃˢ ᵃ ᵖᵃᶦᶰ ᶦᶰ ᵗʰᵉ ᵃˢˢ ᵉᵛᵉᶰ ᵃᶠᵗᵉʳ ᵐᵃˣᵉᵈ ᴮᵉᵉ ᴴᶦᵛᵉ ᶦᶰ ᵗʰᵉ ᵛᶦᶫᶫᵃᵍᵉ.
Now again - imagine the feeling, when afteraroun 130 hours of dicking aroun, farming and grinding that actually felt rewarding pretty cool, you think, that you beat the game, only to discover, that you are not even half-way throu.
It was (ᶦˢ) a great game of fantastic series.
