But, with mien of respect or decorum, perched above my thread's door—
Perched upon a bust of felix argyle just above my OP door —
Perched, and sat, and nothing more.
Then this smiling poster beguiling my cynical fancy into replying,
By the saccharine and homosexual decorum of the countenance it wore,
“Though thy replies be nice and friendly, thou,” I said, “art sure not serious,
Ghastly gay and homo Niceposter wandering from the Nightly shore—
