/pol/ What should I go back to school for?

Im 29 years old.Live in my moms basement,have a corrections degree under my belt...but...thats it.I mean im a wiz with customer service,selling and general face to face jobs.Hate the idea of being a salesmen though...was thinking going back for a stint and being a CNA.I like old people

Thing is I want kids in my early 30's

Anyone else in this situation? Had a career in mind and it fucked off? Old and still living with mum?

I sometimes wonder if mom had'nt died I would have remained a 100% hopeless POS and never moved out on my own at 18 and became a 98% hopeless POS. I'll never get to know. I would have treated her horrible anyway.

maybe i just got lucky, i have very thick skin and can handle rejection.
some advice; if you are in a phone based sales role treat every call like your first and dont EVER let a negative experience affect your performance

good references from the fundraising company helped me put across my thick skin for interviews. its all down hill from there

if ur from the US and you do actually have a decent sales background with good references try applying for a Sales support role at Dell, Lenovo or HP.
They hire, and its a great way to get your foot in the door to earn more $$$ down the track

Once you have one of them on your resume, you can get a job anywhere relevant

You mean you finished school for a prison guard? Why not find job in prison then? You could also make money smuggling drugs and mobile phones into the prison. My grandfather was a prison guard and he made decent money smuggling all kinds of pills and alcohol into prison.
