>>4948846the jewish algorithm probably didn't even show you everybody's pics. when you have a large amount of followers on ig, and you post a pic, it shows it to like 10% of the people following you. it does this so you're more likely to pay money to promote your picture so more people like it.
similarly, if you follow too many people, it won't show you all the posts. i follow 80 people, and out of those maybe 10-15 will post per day, so it shows me all of them, cause i check ig 3-4 times a day when i'm bored. but my coworkers who follow like 300+ people don't see every new post, even though they check it once per hour.
