This is mostly thanks to the media, they are literally propaganda machines that don't deliver 'real' news anymore but just go forward with their political agendas.
It gets difficult when the extremists go against each other, everybody blows it out of proportion.
It sucks here, we think we are the most philanthropic in the world.
Also, to clarify: (some) liberals and all neocons believe war in the middle east is good for everyone. Why? Because they think Assad is Hitler2.0 and that we have to stop the killing of children there and 'free' all of them with democratic styled govs.
