Went to see the principle (white) and told him my story. He told me he didn't want to suspend me because I was an honors student and never had that happen before, but that he had to because it was the rules. He did, however, say it with a tone and look at me in a manner that made me feel that on the inside he was saying "that-a-boy, you fucked that nigger up, score one for us finally."
My school was about 50% black at the time, close to 100 now.
