Speaking of which, PixelCanvas was a pretty major part of /bant/'s early history that spilled into the board's actual policy to a degree.
Likewise, Pepsibot, the one that everyone remembers was banned about two months ago to point a definitive end to its presence.

The end result was the entire board becoming unusable as both mega-posters tried to outspam each other and cause chaos, the most notable part being the fact that the mods didn't stop it in spite of deleting threads left in right as much as both sides getting bored did.
One can interpret this as the beginning of the events that would eventually lead to /r9k/'s raiding party hitting /bant/ several months later as the buzz reached /qa/ which itself is was terminally plagued by their presence at the time.
